Paul Burrows

Sector Officer, Growth & Trade, Government of Jersey

Paul is Sector Officer, Growth & Trade within the Local Economy Team at the Government of Jersey, being part of the team responsible for attracting and relocating Inward Investment Businesses and High Value Residents to the Island under the Locate Jersey brand. 

Paul has been with Government since 2012, but prior to that spent 33 years' working in the international financial services industry across wealth management and the private, and corporate banking sectors.  He has expertise in relationship management, business development and investment advice as a Chartered Member of the Securities and Investment Institute. 

Since joining Government, Paul has played a key role in building Jersey's reputation as a centre for the relocation of companies and High Value Residents wishing to establish a physical presence in Jersey, providing comprehensive, independent, confidential and free advice to help them through the process of moving to and setting up in Jersey.

Timothy Douglas

Head of Policy and Campaigns, Propertymark

Timothy joined Propertymark in July 2015 and leads on the organisation’s policy and campaigns activity across Westminster, the devolved parliaments, and local authorities. He authored Propertymark’s The Future of Renting position paper and wrote Propertymark’s best practice guidance to help agents operate during the pandemic. Timothy also created the policy proposals for the Leasehold: A Life Sentence research report.

Before Propertymark, Timothy worked as a political advisor in Westminster for a former Business Minister and Government Whip and spent a period of time as a Caseworker and Researcher for Members of the European Parliament.

Specialist Statistician, Statistics Jersey

Matthew Gill works for Statistics Jersey as a specialist statistician. He has led on producing housing statistics for nearly seven years and during that time has introduced new measures such as those covering mortgages.

Gillian Hunt

Regional Executive, NAEA Propertymark

Gill has lived in Jersey for over 35 years and has been in estate agency for over 25 years. She established Hunt Estates in 2015, previously having been a founding partner of another local estate agency.

Gill has a reputation for honesty and integrity; keeping her clients informed, and works hard to achieve a speedy and smooth transaction for all parties. She sells properties in all price ranges, and through her extensive networking, acts on a significant number of local high value properties which are often maintained on her confidential register. She is passionate about ensuring high standards of professionalism and conduct, and regularly organises education, training and new legislation updates.

Partner, Bright Solicitors

Alex heads up the Disputes and Litigation team at Bright Solicitors. He has experience in a wide range of litigation matters and predominately advises clients on contentious property matters such as commercial and residential landlords and tenants in connection with possession claims, dilapidations, and forfeiture. Alex also advises on matters arising from disputed rights of way, boundary issues together with general commercial property matters.

Jason is a vastly experienced sales and auction expert with a demonstrated history of building and growing companies. He worked in agency as both agent and supplier for over 25 years and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and results. Jason takes pride in development, training and nurturing of all the team and watching them flourish. Multi-award winning in both agency and suppliers’ category from EA Masters, Sunday Times and Negotiator Awards.
