This training is aimed at landlords and agents operating in, or managing properties in Wales to:

  • Provide a summary of the Act
  • Explain why it is important to ensure compliance with the Act including the restrictions the Act places on terminating Occupation Contracts
  • Discuss the Offences that can be committed under the Act
  • Drill down into the details of permitted payments and the rules for each
  • Encourage landlords and agents to consider the fees they charge to ensure they comply with the Act
