Allegations
The Tribunal considered the allegations set out in the case summary sent to Mr Vaddaram.
It was alleged that Mr Vaddaram had acted in contravention of the requirements of the following Propertymark Conduct and Membership Rules.
- Conduct Rule 13: General duty to uphold high standards of ethical and professional behaviour
- Conduct Rule 23: Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Decisions
Mr Vaddaram entered a plea denying the alleged breaches of Rules 13 and 23.
After consideration of the evidence presented and submissions by the parties, the Tribunal announced the following findings::
- Conduct Rule 13: Not proven
- Conduct Rule 23: Proven
Sanctions
- Conduct Rule 23: £50
In addition, the costs of this Hearing of £462 were imposed against Mr Vaddaram in favour of Propertymark.
Closing Statement
The Tribunal made the following statement:
'The Tribunal thanks Mr Vaddaram for his attendance at today’s hearing, assisted by Ms Anna Cyktor. Logging CPD is a requirement of Propertymark and has been for over 20 years. The system, as confirmed by annual membership renewal, is an obligation and not subject to reminder. This is also covered within the Rules 23.3, this refers to submission.'
