ARLA Propertymark President David Votta took part along with a number of member agents, benefiting from CPD among 10k delegates with headline speakers including Jay Shetty and Venus Williams.
The trip's aim was to reaffirm the long-standing relationship between the professional bodies and feed into the progression of member-focused projects, currently under development.
Membership bodies representing property agents travelled from across the world allowing Propertymark to broker new relationships with Norwegian, Irish, Dutch, Mexican, French, Nigerian and Spanish delegations, as well as clarifying the position of the UK membership association as strategically important on the international stage. With economic challenges across the globe, agents examined the benefits of different methods, increased marketing, greater technological leverage and variations in earnings models.
During the four-day conference, Propertymark benefitted from innovation experiences with new artificial intelligence developments coming out of NAR REACH’s Texan innovation hub.
The delegation visited new models of facility-rich community housing, and took part in a global business council forum, along with sessions on sustainability, leadership and the US model of qualifications.
Out of sessions Nathan Emerson managed to meet up with the in-demand, incoming President of NAR Kenny Parcell, broker-owner of Equity Real Estate Utah.
In addition to the key learning and international collaboration that took place during the event, Propertymark has access to an expansive knowledge hub of related resources.
